Salary Structure

Selected candidates under RRB Isolated Category Recruitment 2026 will receive salary as per 7th Pay Commission:

• Level 02

• Level 06

• Level 07

Along with DA, HRA, TA, and other allowances as per Railway rules.

Educational Qualification and Other Qualifications

Post-wise educational qualification details are as follows:

1. Chief Law Assistant

• Age Limit: 18 to 40 years.

• Educational Qualification:

  • A University Degree in Law with 3 years of standing practice as a Pleader at Bar.

  • OR: Serving Railway employees who are Law Graduates are also eligible to apply for these posts.

2. Public Prosecutor

• Age Limit: 18 to 38 years.

• Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized University.

  • Experience: Five years of standing as an advocate at Bar.

3. Scientific Assistant / Training

• Age Limit: 18 to 35 years.

• Educational Qualification:

  • Second Class Master’s Degree in Psychology.

  • Experience: One year of experience in the Administration of Psychological tests.

• Desirable Qualification:

  1. Knowledge of Computers and Statistics.

  2. Specialization in Industrial / Organizational Psychology.

4. Junior Translator (Hindi)

• Age Limit: 18 to 33 years.

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree from a recognized University in one of the following combinations:

  • Option A: Master’s in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level.

  • Option B: Master’s in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level.

  • Option C: Master’s in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at Degree level.

• AND (Must possess one of the following):

  • Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa.

  • OR: 2 years of experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State Government offices, including Government of India Undertaking.

5. Senior Publicity Inspector

• Age Limit: 18 to 33 years.

• Educational Qualification:

  • Degree from a recognized University.

  • AND: Diploma in Public Relations / Advertising / Journalism / Mass Communication from a recognized institution/University.

• Desirable: 2 years of experience in related fields.

6. Staff & Welfare Inspector

• Age Limit: 18 to 38 years.

• Educational Qualification: Graduation PLUS any one of the following qualifications:

  • (A) Diploma in Labour/ Social Welfare.

  • (B) Diploma in Labour Laws.

  • (C) LLB with papers in Labour Laws.

  • (D) PG Diploma in Personnel Management.

  • (E) MBA with papers in Personnel Management awarded by an Institution of the Govt. of India.

  • (F) MBA/HR awarded by an institution recognized by the Govt. of India.

  • (G) PG Diploma in Human Resource Management (provided that its curriculum includes relevant papers in Personnel Management awarded by an institution recognized by the Govt of India).

7. Lab Assistant Grade 3 (Chemist and Metallurgist)

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years.

• Educational Qualification:

  • 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with Science (Physics and Chemistry) as subjects or its equivalent.
