APSC Forest Ranger Exam 2026
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has officially released the APSC Forest Ranger Exam 2026 schedule for the recruitment of Forest Ranger under the Assam Forest Service, Environment & Forests Department. Candidates who have successfully applied against Advertisement No. 22/2025 dated 16 June 2025 can now check the complete written examination programme. The examination will be conducted from 30 August 2026 to 13 September 2026 through both Conventional and OMR-based Objective examinations.

APSC Forest Ranger Admit Card 2026
The Assam Public Service Commission has notified that no e-Admission Certificate will be sent by post. Candidates must download their admit cards from the official APSC website.
Exam Pattern
The written examination consists of both Conventional and Objective (OMR) papers.
- English paper will be conducted in Conventional mode.
- General Knowledge paper will be Objective (OMR).
- All optional subject papers will be Objective (OMR) type.
- Candidates should report to the examination centre well before the reporting time.
Important Instructions
- No separate admit card will be dispatched through post.
- Candidates must download the e-Admission Certificate from the official website.
- Carry a printed admit card along with a valid photo identity proof.
- Reach the examination venue well before the reporting time.
- Follow all examination guidelines issued by APSC.
- The Commission reserves the right to reject or cancel the candidature at any stage if any candidate is found ineligible under Advertisement No. 22/2025.
