    • The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 40 years of age as of 01-01-2024. The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:

    (c) 2 years for Ex-servicemen.
    (d) 10 years for PwD candidates.

    • The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/HSLC passed certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council. No other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.

    Women and Child Development Recruitment 2024 Selection Procedure

    a) Candidates whose applications are accepted will need to participate in an OMR-based objective type written test. The venue and date for this test will be notified later through local newspapers and the official website.

    b) The Syllabus for the OMR-based Objective Type Written Test for each position is as follows:

    a) Candidates qualifying in the OMR-based Objective Type Written Test will be called for a Computer Skill Test, which will carry 25 marks. The candidates shall be called for the skill test in the ratio of 1:4 based on merit as per the written test marks, considering the reservation policy.

    b) The venue, date, etc., for the Skill Test will be notified through local newspapers and the official website in due course.

    Other Conditions:

    • No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the OMR-based Objective Type Written Test and Skill Test (wherever required).
    • There will be no Viva-Voce Interview.
    • Canvassing directly or indirectly will lead to disqualification.
    • Eligible candidates must participate in all stages of recruitment; absence from any stage will result in the cancellation of candidature.
    • Candidature will be summarily rejected at any stage if it does not conform to the official format, contains incomplete information, lacks requisite certificates, or involves misrepresentation of facts or impersonation.
    • If any information declared by candidates is found to be false at any stage, the candidate will be penalized as per prevailing laws/rules.
    • The decision of the Director, Women & Child Development, Assam, regarding the eligibility of a candidate for examination admission shall be final.

    • Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC/SC/STP/STH category must submit a caste certificate issued by the competent authority along with the application form.
    • Provide a valid email address and individual mobile phone number, as these will be used for conveying related information. The email address and mobile phone number should be specific to each candidate.
    • For candidates already employed, the prerogative for permission to appear in the written examination/join services, if selected, rests with the appropriate authority. The Directorate of Women and Child Development, Assam, is not responsible in case permission is not granted.
