Applications are invited in the format prescribed by the DHE, Assam with complete Bio-Data including all testimonials from HSLC onward from eligible candidates having the latest UGC norms for filling up the following sanctioned vacant posts of Assistant Professor of CKB Commerce College, Jorhat, in the UGC 7th Payscale.

1. Department of Economics: 01 post, (Roster Point No. 01) (Reserved for PwD)
2. Department of Banking: 01 post (Roster Point No. 12) (Unreserved)
3. Department of Statistics & Mathematics (Statistics preferable): 01 post (Roster Point No. 19) (Reserved for EWS)

Fulfillment of Educational qualifications as per Govt. Office Memorandum No. AHE.239/2021/68 dated 24.01.2022 with NET/SLET/ SET.

The selection procedure will be as per Govt. Office Memorandum issued vide No. ASE.626/2021/3 dated 15.12.2021.

The candidates have to acquire qualifications as of the last date of submitting applications. Eligibility like M.Phil/Ph.D/ Seminar Papers/Publications can be acquired and submitted on the interview date and not beyond.

The age of the candidate should not be more than 38 years as on 01.01.2022 with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC/ MOBC candidates and 10 years for PwD candidates.

The Candidates must have a Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC) and must have proficiency in the local language.

Candidates in service must apply through proper channels along with NOC from the concerned authority.
