Post Details of DEE LP School Assam Recruitment 2025
Post Name: Special Educator (Lower Primary Schools)
Candidates will serve as Special Educators in various Lower Primary schools under DEE Assam.
No. of Posts:
A total of 120 vacancies are available across multiple districts of Assam.
Salary:
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 7,400/- and other allowances as per Assam Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2019.
Education Qualification and Other Qualifications:
Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Special Education recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Must have passed Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for LP Schools.
Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (Special Education) and valid TET certification will also be considered.
Other Eligibility Criteria of DEE LP School Assam Recruitment 2025
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as of 1st August 2025. Age relaxation: 2 years for Ex-Servicemen, 3 years for OBC/MOBC, 5 years for SC/ST, and 10 years for PwD candidates.
Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam and Indian citizens as per Articles 5–8 of the Constitution.
Candidates with more than two living children born on or after 01.01.2021 are ineligible as per Small Family Norms.
