he work of PLVs doesn’t carry any salary, remuneration, or wage except remuneration fixed by District Legal Services Authority, Jorhat from time to time, as per rules.
Educational Qualification:
Minimum matriculation with a capacity for overall comprehension.
Who can Apply:
- Teachers (including retired teachers)
- Retired Government Servants and senior citizens
- Master of Social Works Students and Teachers
- Anganwadi workers
- Doctors/Physicians
- Students & Law Students (till they enroll as lawyers)
- Members of non-political, service oriented NGOs and Clubs
- Members of Women neighborhood groups, Maithri Sanghams and other Self Help Groups including Marginalized/Vulnerable groups
- Any other person whom the District Legal Services Authority deems fit to be identified as Para Legal Volunteer {as per “scheme For Para Legal Volunteers (Revised)’}
DLSA Jorhat Recruitment 2024 Apply Online
- Applications are invited from the local residents of Jorhat District in standard form along with two numbers of passport-sized photographs, for the selection of around twenty (20) numbers of PLVs, who are willing to serve as a Para Legal volunteer at Jorhat district under District Legal services Authority, Jorhat.
- The filled-up application should reach the secretary’s office, District Legal Services Authority, Jorhat on or before 18.04.2024. The applicants should submit their mobile/contact number in their application for any further required communication.
- Incomplete applications will be rejected without assigning any reasons. No applications will be entertained after the last date fixed.
- The selection committee’s decisions in shortlisting the number of candidates for interview and selection of PLV shall be final. They will be selected as per the relevant Scheme, in this regard.
- In case of any objection regarding the selection of PLV’s the decision of the chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Jorhat, shall be final and binding to all concerned,
- A list of shortlisted eligible candidates, if any, will be notified in the Official Notice Board as well as uploaded in the official website of Jorhat District Judiciary, i.e.
