Eligibility: Retired Distinguished Scientist (DS) or equivalent from DRDO / Scientific or Academic Institutions, or Retired Lt. General / equivalent rank from Armed Forces with technical background.
Honorarium: Fixed, based on last drawn salary, excluding pension adjustments.
DRDO Distinguished Fellowships

Salary: ₹1,25,000 monthly fixed.
DRDO Fellowships

Eligibility: Retired Scientist ‘G’ or equivalent in Pay Level-14 or above, or Retired Major General with technical qualification background.
Salary: ₹1,00,000 per month / ₹80,000 per month for Non-DRDO category.
Educational Qualification
B.Tech / B.E. / M.Sc / M.Tech / Ph.D in relevant areas.
