Age Limit & Marital Status:
Flying Branch: Applicants must be between 20 to 24 years as of January 1, 2025, i.e., born between January 2, 2001, to January 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates with a valid Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable up to 26 years, i.e., born between January 2, 1999, to January 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive).
Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: The age requirement is 20 to 26 years as of January 1, 2025, i.e., born between January 2, 1999, to January 1, 2005 (both dates inclusive).
Marital Status:
Candidates must be unmarried at the time of the course commencement, and marriage is not permitted during training.

Candidates must have successfully completed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in both Mathematics and Physics. Additionally, eligibility can be fulfilled through one of the following:
- (a) Graduation with a minimum three-year degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
- (b) BE/B Tech degree (Four years course) from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
- (c) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch – Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) {AE (L)}
Candidates should have a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Additionally, they must possess a minimum of a four-year degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/Technology from a recognized University. Alternatively, candidates can clear Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers through actual studies, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. Alternatively, they can clear section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
(ac) Accounts Branch:
Candidates need to have passed 10+2 and completed graduation in any of the following streams with 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized university:
- (aaa) B. Com Degree (Min three years course).
- (aab) Bachelor of Business Administration (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Management Studies (with specialization in Finance)/ Bachelor of Business Studies (with specialization in Finance).
- (aac) Qualified CA/ CMA/ CS/ CFA.
- (aad) B.Sc. with specialization in Finance.
(ad) Education:
Applicants should have passed 10+2 and completed Post-Graduation with 50% marks in any discipline, including integrated courses offering PG (Single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry), and with 60% marks in Graduation in any discipline.
Meteorology (AE):
For eligibility in Meteorology, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Passed 10+2 and B Sc with Physics and Mathematics with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. OR
- Completed a four-year Graduation in Engineering/Technology discipline with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
