Military Service Pay (MSP): ₹15,500 per month fixed for Officers from Lieutenant to Brigadier.
Fixed Stipend for Cadet Training: Stipend provided to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in the Service academy, including the training period at PCTA.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates who have successfully completed the necessary Engineering Degree course or are currently in the final year of an Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply.
Candidates currently in the final year of their Engineering degree course must be capable of providing evidence of passing the Engineering Degree Examination, including marksheets for all semesters/years, by 1st October 2024. Additionally, they should be able to furnish the Engineering Degree Certificate within 12 weeks from the commencement of training at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA). Such candidates will be inducted on an Additional Bond Basis for the recovery of training costs at PCTA, as specified periodically. This includes stipends, pay, and allowances paid, in the event that they fail to produce the necessary degree certificate.
Educational Qualification for Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defence Personnel who Died in Harness:
(i) SSCW (Non Tech) (Non UPSC). Graduation in any Discipline.
(ii) SSCW (Tech). B.E. / B. Tech in any Engineering stream.
Nationality:
A candidate must fall into one of the following categories:
- A citizen of India,
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia, as well as Vietnam, with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Candidates belonging to categories (ii) and (iii) above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. However, Gorkha subjects of Nepal are exempt from the requirement of a certificate of eligibility. Candidates requiring a certificate of eligibility should submit it along with their application.

(a) Shortlisting of Applications: Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) holds the authority to shortlist applications for the Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2024 and determine the cutoff percentage of marks for each Engineering discipline/stream, without providing any specific reason. The cutoff will be applied in each stream based on the cumulative percentage of marks obtained by the candidates up to the final semester/year. Candidates in their final semester/year will be provisionally allowed to appear in SSB, subject to the following conditions: (i) Cumulative percentage of marks up to the 6th semester/3rd year (for Engineering degree), up to the 8th semester/4th year (for B. Architecture), and up to the 2nd semester/1st year (for M.Sc in the notified equivalent stream/discipline) should not fall below the approved cutoff percentage in their respective streams. (ii) After the declaration of final results, the cumulative percentage of marks up to the final semester/year of the degree course should also not be less than the approved cutoff percentage; failing which, the candidature will be canceled.
(b) Centre Allotment: After shortlisting applications, the center allotment for [Indian Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2024] will be communicated to candidates via email. Upon allotment of the Selection Centre, candidates need to log in to the website to select their SSB dates, initially available on a first-come, first-serve basis. However, the option to select SSB dates may be forfeited due to exceptional circumstances/events.
(c) Interview Process: Only shortlisted eligible candidates, based on the cutoff percentage, will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres (Allahabad, Bhopal, Bengaluru, Jalandhar Cantt) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer, and Interviewing Officer. The allotment of Selection Centre is at the discretion of Directorate General of Recruiting, IHQ of MoD (Army), and no requests for changes will be entertained.
