After completing the registration on these portals, a registration number will be generated. Candidates must mention this number while applying for apprentice positions on the Indian Oil Pipelines Division portal at https://plapps.indianoilpipelines.in/.

Selection Process of IOCL Pipelines Division Recruitment 2025

Merit-Based Selection

Candidates registered on the NAPS/NATS Portal and applying under this notification will be shortlisted based on a merit list:

• A Panel cum Merit List will be prepared in descending order of percentage marks obtained in the qualifying examination relevant to the trade applied for.

• Candidates with CGPA/OGPA/Letter Grades must provide a certificate from their Board/University specifying the equivalent percentage of marks.

• If no conversion formula exists, the percentage will be calculated based on aggregate grades divided by the total number of semesters/years.

• In case of a tie, candidates with an earlier date of birth (older candidates) will be given preference, followed by higher marks in Matriculation.

• No Written Test or Personal Interview will be conducted.

Seat Reallocation Rules

• Vacant reserved seats will be reallocated in this order: SC → ST → OBC → EWS → UR.

• If EWS seats remain vacant, they may be filled by unreserved category candidates.

Medical Fitness Requirement

Candidates must be medically fit as per IndianOil’s pre-engagement medical standards. The guidelines can be downloaded from the IOCL Pipelines portal.

Apprenticeship Restrictions

• Candidates who have undergone apprenticeship training earlier or possess job experience of one year or more are not eligible.

• Those who completed their qualification more than five years prior to the cut-off date (31.08.2025) are also ineligible.
