Application Fee:
To complete your application, you need to submit the required application fee. The fee is Rs. 250/- (rupees two hundred fifty) for General category candidates and Rs. 150/- (rupees one hundred fifty) for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidates.

Age Limit:
As per the Government Order No.ABP.55/2023/25 dated 04-07-2023, the age criteria for candidates is as follows: the candidate should be at least 21 years old and not more than 45 years old as of 01-01-2023. This age limit applies to all categories of applicants.
If applicable, the upper age limit can be relaxed under the following conditions:
(i) For Persons with Disabilities (PWD), there is a relaxation of 10 years in the upper age limit. This relaxation is irrespective of the candidate’s category, whether SC/ST/OBC, or General Category, as per the Government Notification No.ABP.144/95/121 dated 28-10-2015.

a. Broad Speciality: For the following departments, a candidate should possess a Post Graduate qualification MD/MS/DNB in the respective concerned subject from an institute recognized by the National Medical Commission (previously MCI) / National Board of Education (NBE), under any Indian University:

For the Anatomy Department:
- A candidate should have a Post Graduate qualification MS (Anatomy) or MSc (Medical Anatomy) with a PhD in Medical Anatomy.
For the Biochemistry Department:
- A candidate should have a Post Graduate qualification MD (Biochemistry) or MSc (Medical Biochemistry) with a PhD in Medical Biochemistry.
For the Physiology Department:
- A candidate should have a Post Graduate qualification MD (Physiology) or MSc (Medical Physiology) with a PhD in Medical Physiology.
b. b. Super Specialty: For Medical Super Specialty (Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, and Medical Oncology), a candidate should possess a Post Graduate qualification MD/DNB in General Medicine.
For Surgical Super Specialty (Plastic Surgery, CTVS (Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery), Neurosurgery, Urology, and Paediatric Surgery), a candidate should possess a Post Graduate qualification MS/DNB in General Surgery.
Candidates with a DM/M.Ch./DNB qualification in the respective super specialty subject will be given preference/weightage.
