How to Apply for RIPANS Aizawl Admission Counselling 2025

Applying for counselling at RIPANS is a straightforward offline process. Here’s how you can go about it:

Step-by-Step Guide:

1. Check Eligibility:
   Ensure that you’ve appeared for the required entrance exam (SSUHS or NEET-UG) and have secured the minimum qualifying marks for your chosen course.

2. Gather Original Documents:
   Collect all necessary original certificates, mark sheets, scorecards, photographs, and other relevant documents (see full list above).

3. Reach the Counselling Venue:
   Visit the Office of the Director of Medical Education (DME), Assam, at Sixmile, Khanapara, Guwahati – 22, on 5th August 2025 by 10:30 AM. It’s best to arrive early to avoid delays.

4. Attend Counselling in Person:
   Be present in person — no proxies allowed. Document verification and seat allotment will be done on the spot.

5. Submit Undertaking (If Selected):
   If you are allotted a seat, you’ll need to fill and sign an undertaking declaring your intent to join RIPANS for the 2025 session.

6. Complete Admission at RIPANS:
   Proceed with the admission process at RIPANS, Aizawl, as per the instructions given during counselling.

7. Submit Admission Receipt to DME:
   Within 7 days of admission, submit a copy of your admission receipt to the DME, Assam, to confirm your nomination under the state quota.

🔔 Important: There is no online application for this counselling process. Everything is conducted offline and in person.

What You Must Carry for Counselling

Don’t forget to prepare these documents before heading to the venue:

• Original mark sheets and certificates (Class 10 & 12)

• Admit card and scorecard of the relevant entrance exam

• Caste certificate (if applicable)

• Disability certificate (if applicable)

• Passport-sized photographs

• Domicile certificate

• Undertaking form (to be submitted upon selection)

Undertaking Requirement

Selected candidates will be required to submit an undertaking stating their intent to join the allotted course at RIPANS. This is a mandatory step and confirms your commitment to the institution.

Post Admission Requirements

Once admitted:

• Submit your admission receipt to the Director of Medical Education (DME), Assam within 7 days of admission.

• Failure to do so will disqualify you from any future nominations under the DME Assam quota.

Consequences of Missing Counselling
