Education Qualification of AM & JM Vacancy 2026
Assistant Manager (Electrical, Mechanical, IT, Instrumentation, Civil): A full-time B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering branch from an AICTE-approved university or institution, with the course being at least 4 years after HSSLC, or 3 years after a full-time engineering diploma, or a 2+2+2 year pattern from a government-recognised or AICTE-approved institution. A minimum of 60% marks is required in the qualifying degree, relaxed to 50% for SC/ST candidates.
Assistant Manager (Human Resource): A full-time 2-year MBA or PGDM with specialisation in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, or Industrial Relations from an AICTE/UGC-approved Indian university or institution. A minimum of 60% marks is required, relaxed to 55% for SC/ST candidates.
Junior Manager (all disciplines): A full-time 3-year diploma (after HSLC) in the relevant engineering branch from a government-recognised or AICTE-approved polytechnic, or an equivalent 2+2 year pattern. A minimum of 60% marks is required in the diploma course, relaxed to 50% for SC/ST candidates.
Other Eligibility Criteria
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian citizens as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam and must produce a PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes, or an Employment Exchange Registration certificate, as proof of residency along with the online application.
Small Family Norms: Candidates must submit a declaration in Form-A regarding small family norms at the time of application.
Age Limit: Candidates must be not less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 1st April 2026.
