Project Duration
The project duration is three (03) years. The initial appointment will be for one year and may be extended annually based on satisfactory performance until completion of the project.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive fellowship as per ANRF norms:
- ₹37,000 per month + 20% HRA for candidates who have qualified NET/GATE or any other National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments, Agencies, or Institutions for Ph.D. admission.
- ₹30,000 per month + 20% HRA for candidates who do not possess the above qualification.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc. or equivalent) in Microbiology or Biotechnology from a recognized university or institution.
Desirable Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates having:
- Minimum two years of research experience in Biological Sciences or Life Sciences.
- Experience in isolation and extraction techniques from natural products.
- Hands-on experience in DNA isolation and purification.
- Experience in microbial isolation, culture, characterization, and microbial analysis.
- Knowledge of molecular biology techniques and microbiological methods.
- Experience in research project management, data analysis, and scientific report writing.
