Super Specialist Medical Officer (Second-in-Command)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Salary: Level-12 of Pay Matrix (Grade-II), ₹78,800–₹2,09,200.

The Super Specialist Medical Officer position requires an M.B.B.S. or equivalent medical qualification from a recognised university or institution included in the First Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Candidates must be enrolled in a State Medical Register and must have completed the compulsory rotating internship.

Applicants must also possess a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the relevant specialty listed in Section A or Section B of Schedule I to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification. In addition, a Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Magister Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) or equivalent qualification is required, along with three years of experience in the concerned super-specialty after obtaining the first postgraduate degree. Senior Residency experience will also be counted.

Permanent registration with the MCI, NMC or State Medical Council must be obtained before appointment.

Specialist Medical Officer (Deputy Commandant)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Salary: Level-11 of Pay Matrix (Grade-II, Junior Scale), ₹67,700–₹2,08,700.

Candidates must possess a recognised medical qualification in the Allopathic system of medicine included in the First or Second Schedule, or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, subject to the conditions specified for qualifications under Part-II of the Third Schedule.

Permanent registration with the MCI, NMC or State Medical Council is required before appointment in any CAPF or Assam Rifles.

Applicants must have completed the compulsory rotating internship. They must also possess a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty listed in Section A or Section B of Schedule-I, or an equivalent qualification.

Candidates with a PG Degree must have one and a half years of experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the degree. Candidates holding a PG Diploma must have two and a half years of experience after obtaining the diploma.

Medical Officer (Assistant Commandant)

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Salary: Level-10 of Pay Matrix, ₹56,100–₹1,77,500.

Candidates must possess a recognised medical qualification in the Allopathic system of medicine included in the First or Second Schedule, or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Candidates holding qualifications under Part-II of the Third Schedule must also satisfy the conditions prescribed under Sub-Section (3) of Section 13.

Permanent registration from the MCI, NMC or State Medical Council is required before appointment in any CAPF or Assam Rifles.

Completion of the compulsory rotating internship is also required. Candidates undergoing their rotating internship may apply and appear for the interview, provided they successfully complete the compulsory internship before appointment if selected.
