Pay Level

Selected candidates will receive salary according to the 7th CPC Pay Matrix applicable to the respective post.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the posts under Land Ports Authority of India Recruitment 2026 must satisfy the educational qualification and service eligibility prescribed for the respective post. Age Limit

The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation (including short-term contract wherever applicable) is:

The age shall be calculated as on the closing date of receipt of applications, i.e., 07 August 2026.

Other Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must also satisfy the following conditions:

• Must be serving under the Central Government, State Government, Union Territory Administration, Autonomous Body or Statutory Organization.

• Should hold an analogous post or fulfill the required service in the prescribed Pay Level.

• Must possess the required educational qualification and experience.

• Applications should be forwarded through the proper channel.

• APARs/ACRs for the last five years must be enclosed.

• Vigilance Clearance, Integrity Certificate and Cadre Clearance are mandatory.

• Working knowledge of computers, including MS Office and e-Office, is required for Level-6 posts.

Deputation Period

The deputation period may be extended in accordance with the applicable Recruitment Rules and DoPT guidelines. Appointment on deputation will not confer any right to permanent absorption in LPAI.
