Educational Qualification for Professor
The Professor post is available in Economics, Geography or Statistics with specialization in Econometrics. Candidates must meet all of the following requirements:
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks, or equivalent grade, in the relevant discipline from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Ph.D. in the concerned/relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of research experience at National Level Institutions while working as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, or teaching and research experience at the equivalent level at a University/College.
- Evidence of having successfully guided a doctoral candidate.
- Proven research experience with published work.
- Minimum 10 research publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
- Minimum 120 total research score under Table 2, Schedule IV of the OKDISCD Faculty & Other Academic Staff Services Regulations 2022.
