Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed in Level-10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with a pay scale of ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 per month. In addition to the basic pay, employees will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, National Pension System benefits, medical facilities, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, canteen facilities, and other admissible benefits as per Government rules.
Job Type
This is a Central Government Assam Job opportunity under the Department of Space. The posts are temporary but are likely to continue, and selected officers may be posted or transferred to any PRL or Department of Space unit as required.
Education Qualification of Officer Vacancy 2026
Administrative Officer
Candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- MBA (HR) with 1 year of supervisory experience; OR
- Post Graduate degree with 3 years of experience, including 1 year in a supervisory capacity; OR
- Graduate with 5 years of experience, including 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
Experience must be in the field of Administration.
Accounts Officer
Candidates should have any one of the following:
- ACA/FCA or AICWA/FICWA or MBA (Finance/Banking/Public Systems Management) with 1 year of supervisory experience; OR
- M.Com with 3 years of experience, including 1 year in supervisory capacity; OR
- B.Com/BBA/BBM with 5 years of experience, including 2 years in supervisory capacity.
Experience must be in Finance, Accounts, or Cost Accounting.
Purchase & Stores Officer
Applicants must possess any one of the following:
- MBA in Marketing or Materials Management with 1 year of supervisory experience; OR
- Post Graduate with Diploma in Materials Management (or related discipline) and 3 years of experience, including 1 year in supervisory capacity; OR
- Post Graduate with 3 years of relevant experience, including 1 year in supervisory capacity; OR
- Graduate with 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in supervisory capacity.
Experience should be in Purchase & Stores activities.
Additional Qualification Requirements
- Graduation or Post Graduation (other than MBA/ACA/FCA/FICWA/AICWA/PG Diploma in Materials Management) must be in First Class with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.3/10.
- Experience should be obtained after acquiring the essential qualification.
- Applicants should possess good communication skills, leadership qualities, and computer proficiency.

- Maximum Age: 35 years as on 24 August 2026
- OBC Candidates: 38 years
- SC Candidates: 40 years
- Age relaxation for Government employees, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities will be applicable as per Government of India rules.

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
