State Bank of India has released the notification for SBI Junior Associates Recruitment 2026 for 7,967 Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) vacancies in the clerical cadre. Online applications are open from August 11 to August 31, 2026.

Educational Qualification for Junior Associate
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
Candidates in the final year/semester may also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of passing graduation on or before December 31, 2026.
Other Eligibility Criteria
Local Language
Candidates applying for a State/UT must be proficient in the specified local language of that State/UT.
For Assam, the specified languages are Assamese, Bengali and Bodo.
Candidates who studied the specified local language in Class 10 or 12 are exempt from the language test.
Existing SBI Clerical Employees
Employees currently working in SBI in the Clerical Cadre are not eligible. Candidates previously employed in SBI who resigned while in the Clerical Cadre are also not eligible.
Age Limit
20–28 years
Age is calculated as on April 1, 2026.
Candidates must have been born between April 2, 1998 and April 1, 2006, inclusive.
